The 2015 Game Awards took place on Thursday December 3rd, 2015. The show was dedicated to more than awards though. They showed of several world premiere trailers and teasers at the show. The following are the three announcements most relevant to family gamers.
Telltale teased a Batman game coming in 2016. The teaser trailer that they showed didn’t give us much clue as to its content, but we have seen Batman games range from E10+ to M over the years. We will just have to keep our eyes open for it.
Rocket League got its official Xbox One announcement. This isn’t much of a surprise. The game has been a huge hit on PS4 and PC.
Psychonauts 2 was unveiled to be in development by Double Fine Studios. The games development is being funded using the crowd funding site Fig. The thing that makes this particularly interesting is that Fig is actually an investment platform. People who back the game there will be able to earn residuals based on their investments.
